Disney veteran Nitin Chawla joins WarnerMedia Global Brands and Experiences • The Toy Book
WarnerMedia Global Brands and Experiences has tapped Nitin Chawla as its new Head of Finance, Strategy, Planning and Global Operations.
In her new role, Chawla leads finance, strategy and business operations for the division of WarnerMedia that develops new ways for consumers to engage with its brands by combining creative elements from WarnerMedia Studios and Networks, DC, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Warner. Brother themed entertainment.
Chawla, who joins WarnerMedia from The Walt Disney Co., reports to Pam Lifford, president, WarnerMedia Global Brands and Experiences, and Jessica Holscott, chief financial officer of WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Group.
“With over 20 years of experience in digital media, consumer products and technology, Nitin brings a breadth of knowledge perfectly aligned with the next phase of our growth,” says Lifford. “As physical retail and engagement continue to merge with digital experiences and consumers seek new ways to be entertained, we are constantly innovating to find ways to meet our fans where they are.”
At Disney, Chawla most recently served as head of digital media business operations for the company’s digital entertainment and news product portfolio.
