Genius Brands Makes Pact With Wolfgang Puck For New Children’s IP

Genius Brands International has teamed up with world-renowned chef, restaurateur and entrepreneur Wolfgang Puck for new children’s brand Academy of Secret Chefs by Wolfgang Puck.

Academy of Secret Chefs by Wolfgang Puck will feature a series of animated adventures with Puck voicing his own character, who is on a mission to create the greatest cookbook of all time. Genius Brands is also developing an L&M program that will include themed subscription boxes containing recipes for kids to create, a line of branded products, a new private label food and more.

In the animated series, in order to compile his cookbook, Puck’s character enlists five talented child chefs, who attend his Secret Spago School of Scrumptious, and sends them on missions around the world to learn iconic recipes that represent the culture and soul of the places they visit. Their journeys become complicated when Puck’s rival, Foxgang Muck, tries to sabotage them at every turn.

The brand’s L&M program will include a dedicated YouTube channel featuring short-form content, as well as a website and social media channels. Its line of branded products will include publishing, kitchen tools, apparel, homeware and more.
