Get a Free Whataburger for Toddler Support Toys on Saturday

It’s the season in East Texas. The Christmas lights come on, Rudolph the red nosed pumping unit is getting ready and ready to go, the beautiful decorations are something to see on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University … and … THIS IS FREE WHATABURGERS TIME !!

Do I have your attention?

On Saturday, Nov. 27, 9 a.m. to noon, proceed to the Whataburger at the intersection of Highway 94 and Loop 287. You will see representatives from the Marine Corp League, KICKS 105, and Whataburger (maybe even an appearance de What-a -Guy) by collecting toys and money for the Toys for Tots program in Angelina and Trinity counties.

Just bring a new, unwrapped toy and you’ll receive a coupon for a free Whataburger. If you don’t have time to do some toy shopping, donate $ 10 to get your free Whataburger. The offer is valid for one coupon per person.

The need for toys in our region in 2021 is staggering. The past few years have been a record year for the number of children hoping for toys, and this need has almost doubled this year. Almost 1,900 children in the immediate area were supported by the Toys for Tots program in 2020. The ongoing pandemic and the economy have led to this recent increase.
