Hot Toys Iron Man Mark VII Open Armor Looks Amazing

hot toys

hot toys features another Iron Man figure, which seems to happen every month. However, this time Tony Stark’s armor is a bit different. Instead of being a high priced action figure, this is a high priced empty suit!

OK, at first it doesn’t seem that impressive. That is…until you see the detailed interior of the Iron Man Mark VII suit. I’m a sucker for highly detailed miniatures, and this version of the Avenger from Iron Man 3 scratches that itch.

The rear of the Mark VII is open, revealing all the technical details and LED lighting hidden inside. It’s something we rarely see on screen, let alone in static form for close inspection. Plus, all of the panels are hinged, allowing the suit to be zipped up if you prefer your Tin Man doesn’t look like he’s been the victim of a mighty fart.

Lighting aside, this is a relatively simple entry into the 1/6th scale Iron Man armory. However, the toy is still expensive. The Mark VII costs $365 and is expected to ship between October and March 2024 from Sideshow Collectibles.
