Medicom’s latest superhero figure might be one of the darkest. Bringing Robert Pattinson’s take on the dark knight, the Mafex The Batman Batman (it’s never funny to say that) comes with a host of accessories, including a grappling hook, batarang and even an alternate chest piece to show off the throwing weapon removed, as well as alternate hands, a wired poscapable cap, and a separate bat cap. But the real highlight are the alternate heads: two are masked (neutral and snappy) and two are unmasked. The unmasked options are a clean-faced, but still pretty miserable Bruce who has well-groomed hair, the other is a emotastic “I just took off my hood and my parents are crazy“Bruce, with flowing hair and made-up eyes. The figure is due to ssummer 2023, for around $110. [BBTS]

Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spidey has already joined the Hot Toys line, now it’s time for Tobey Maguire, with a much longer way of saying “Spider-Man!” for clarification. Hot Toys’ riff on Raimi Spider-Man comes with a fairly standard set of accessories, including an unmasked likeness of Maguire, straps, alternate hands, and the device Peter uses to fight Sandman. However, go for the deluxe version and things get crazy: you get an incredibly elaborate base that depicts Sandman himself forming around the debris, so you can pose Peter as if he’s actually fighting his giant-sized enemy. . You will wait a while to watch this battle unfold; no version of the figure is expected to be released until late 2023 or early 2024. [Hot Toys]

Back in the world of Hot Toys, but this time in a galaxy far, far away, the company Obi Wan Kenobi Vader’s edition is on its way, with a bit of a twist. Jfigure comes with all standard Hot Toys star wars accessories : alternate hands; lightsabers of the on, off, the “to be agitated in the midst of combat” variety, and even Reva’s split lightsabers for good measure; and a base representing the rocky surface of the planet on which Obi-Wan duels. But WWhat makes this stand out is that the standard head is a replica of when Obi-Wan’s lightsaber carves a brutal gash into Vader’s helmet, allowing us to see what’s left of Anakin in below. He even has an articulated eye!

If you want a “normal” Vader, you’ll have to pony up for the deluxe edition – this is where you’ll get a clean helmet and chestplate to replace battle damage, plus an extra stand representing an imperial style sol . There are no release date details, but it’s Hot Toys, so expect to wait a few years. [Toyark]
